Jessica Glenn sent us the following meesage: After finishing my Geography (and partying) degree at Leicester Uni I thought it was about time I sorted myself out with a real job! So, after 6 fun years in Leicester I've moved back to the area! Working at Lincoln Minster School where yes, I am in the choir!

Grace Hollingworth went to Cambridge University after leaving the Choir. She's now a Music Teacher at the Vale of Ancholme Technology College, Brigg.

Nikki Lammin says: Hiya guys - I'm at Lancaster uni now, doing theoretical physics. Having loads of fun, but Friday nights still seem strange without choir. I haven't joined the choir here yet due to work commitments but have every intention of becoming part of the gospel choir.

Sally Robinson wrote: Hello all! I was in the choir for several years until I went to work in Austria! I went to Australia in 2000 with the choir and it was a year later I left! I'm now working at Scunthorpe General as a staff nurse.

Rachel Spavin is back in the Scunthorpe area. Hello to all. I am currently working at St Bede's in Ashby as Head of Music. All going well. Getting married next year! I still sing often, every day in fact! I am Choir Mistress at church and sing in Lydian choir too.

Nick Hudson wrote: "Hi, I'm currently at Loughborough University, working hard, partying harder. I was in the choir for a good 9/10 years, and my highlight had to be the year 2000! what a year for the choir. Opening the millenium dome was out of this world, then 6 months later travelling half way around the world to sing at the olympic torch ceremony!!Can't say I sing that much any more, unless under the influence on a karaoke machine!! So many good memories. Hope to see loads of you at the reunion!! Ciao

Sarah Clark contacted the site to say "Hi all, It's wonderful to see the SCJC are still doing so well. My memories of the time I spent with the choir will always hold a special place in my heart. I have to agree with Nick Hudson, the year 2000 was unforgettable. I feel privileged to have taken part in such a monumental event. Currently, I am working as a Sales Operations Manager for an IT company in Sheffield. The last show I performed in was Chess at the Montgomery Theatre. Keep on singing everyone!"
