Further Update on BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year Competition
We are delighted to announce that the Choir have been successful in the next round of the above competition and will now compete in November at the National Finals to be held at the Liverpool Philharmonic during the weekend of 8/9 November.
The hard work has already started in preparation for this Competition not forgetting our Leaver's Concert which will be held on 12 July at 6.30pm at The House on Brumby Wood Lane. Tickets for this event can be obtained from Choir rehearsals on a Friday night or from Paul's Music, Laneham Street, Scunthorpe. We hope that as many people as possible will attend this popular event where we say goodbye to those choristers moving on to higher education. It is hoped that these choristers will return again in November to take part in the National Finals.
