SCUNTHORPE  CO-OPERATIVE  JUNIOR  CHOIR

PATRONAGE  SCHEME

The Scunthorpe Co-operative Junior Choir has been established for more than 80 years and currently has about 200 members aged between 3 and 19. All choristers attend weekly rehearsals, where they are divided by age into a main choir and two training choirs. All three choirs take part in various concerts and competitions both locally and nationally.

In December 2008, the main choir was judged to be BBC Radio 3’s Choir of the Year in an exciting final at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

We rely on support from grants, sponsors, parents and friends to cover expenses such as room hire, uniforms, sheet music and coach travel. One way in which you can support the choir is to become a Patron.

If you would like to support the choir in this way, please click on the following link and complete the Patronage formenclose it with your subscription and send it to the address given or hand it in at any of our concerts.

Patrons will receive a ticket and priority seat at all concerts arranged by the choir, including our annual leavers’ concert usually held in July. An acknowledgment of your support will appear in our programme and on our website page.

If you pay income tax and/or capital gains tax please gift aid your support as this will bring in additional funds for the choir.
